A family firm, not a franchise.
Dave Hartley started the business in 2014 after years working for bigger outfits and getting tired of how they treated people. The idea was simple. Charge fairly, turn up when you say you will, and do work you'd be happy to have in your own home.
12 years on, it's still the same family. 4 engineers, the same vans you'll start to recognise around Reading, and a lot of customers we've looked after through three or four jobs now.
We turn up
You get a time window and a text when we're on the way. If we're running late, you hear it from us first.
We quote before we work
You'll know the price before we start. If a job grows once we open it up, we stop and talk to you.
We leave it clean
Dust sheets down, boots off, mess taken with us. You shouldn't be able to tell we cleared up after ourselves, only that the job's done.
The people who'll actually turn up
You'll get to know them by name. That's rather the point of a firm this size.
